Coverage Line

Your after‑hours calls, answered. Your call‑outs, covered.

Coverage Line answers your home care agency's phone at night and on weekends. It books new family consultations, takes messages from clients, and finds a replacement when a caregiver calls out at 5 AM.

Built in Conroe, Texas, for Texas home care agencies. 14 days free. No setup fee.

Who answers your phone at 2 AM?

For most agencies, the answer is the owner. Or one scheduler who hasn't had a full night of sleep in months.

The calls never stop. A daughter calls at 8 PM to ask about care for her mother and gets voicemail. By morning she has signed with the agency that picked up. A caregiver texts at 5 AM that her car won't start, and a client is waiting at 7. You spend the next hour working down a list of names.

Caregiver turnover in home care hit 79.2% in the 2024 Benchmarking Report from Activated Insights. High turnover means more call-outs, and more call-outs mean more nights on the phone.

Three kinds of calls, handled the right way

New family inquiries.

A family calls about care. Coverage Line answers warmly, asks the questions your intake form asks, and books a consultation on your calendar. You wake up to a new lead instead of a missed call.

Existing clients and families.

A client's son calls with a question or a change in schedule. Coverage Line takes the details, logs the message and sends anything urgent to your on-call person right away.

Caregiver call-outs.

A caregiver can't make a shift. Coverage Line texts the right caregivers on your roster. If no one replies, it starts calling them. It skips anyone with a standing exception, like no mornings because of school drop-off, and only texts them in case they're free.

What you see when you wake up

Built by someone who has done this before

I'm Dawood Kokawala. I've been writing code for 32 years. I built Careflow, an AI front desk for healthcare that handled calls, texts, scheduling and insurance checks, and sold it to another company. Coverage Line is built for one job: making sure no call to your agency goes unanswered after hours.

Questions owners ask first

Will families know they're talking to AI?
Yes. Coverage Line tells callers it's your agency's after-hours assistant. Most callers care about getting help fast and being treated kindly, and it does both. Anything urgent goes to a real person on your team right away.
What happens in an emergency?
Coverage Line is not an emergency service. If a caller describes an emergency, it tells them to hang up and call 911, then alerts your on-call person.
Does it work with my scheduling software?
Not yet. During setup we load your caregiver roster for you. When someone joins or leaves, text or email us and we update it.
How long does setup take?
About 2 days. We do the setup, and your 14 free days start the day it goes live. You give us your roster, your hours and how you want calls handled.
